The guest (you /your) agree to pay Southern Comfort Motor Inn (us / we) the tariff for each night of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you have vacated your accommodation

Where bookings are made through a third party and this can include online or travel agent reservations, further discounts do not apply.

We have a 24hr cancellation policy and any cancellation of rooms after 12.30pm the day prior to your arrival, or if you simply do not show up, you agree to pay the first nights tariff per room/ multiple rooms booked & guaranteed by your credit card
You agree for this amount / s to be charged to the credit card used to guarantee / confirm your original booking

You agree that any charges for services including any Mini Bar items not billed at the time of your departure may be added to your account for settlement as arranged, or may be charged to the credit card used to pay your account or used to guarantee / confirm the payment of your account

You agree that you are, and remain personally liable to pay the total amount due on departure unless prior settlement arrangements have been made and accepted by us. If the settlement arrangements are not met within 30 days of your departure, you agree to pay the total amount due upon receipt of your invoice

You agree to advise us of any change in the number of persons using the room and agree to pay any additional charges for extra persons not included in the number of guests registered or stated at the time of registration.  

You agree that checkout time is 10am on the date shown as your departure and any late checkout after this time, without the consent of management, will incur a fee of up to or equal to 1 nights tariff

You agree to pay an additional charge if your requested check-in time requires us to keep the room available for you on the  evening prior to your early arrival

You agree to pay us for any loss or damage to the room and or equipment in the room or on the property caused by you or any guests, visitors or friends invited by you, during your stay. This also includes payment for any down time required to correct / repair / replace any such damage to the room or equipment.

You agree to pay for the professional cleaning of, or replacement of any bedding, linen, and or carpet damaged or soiled by any spillages, bodily fluids, faeces or vomit

All our rooms are NON SMOKING. You agree that smoking in rooms WILL INCUR an additional cleaning fee of $150 charged to the credit card used to pay your account or the credit card used to guarantee or confirm payment of your account  

You agree to return or leave behind the key/s to your room at the time of your departure and also agree to pay a $100 fee per key for any replacement key/s you loose or fail to return. A second key to your room requires a $100 deposit payable at the time of issue and refundable when the key is returned.

You agree that the security / safety of any valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, and are brought into the rooms or onto the grounds or car parking areas, remain your responsibility. Refer to the Innkeepers Act 1968.

You agree that any loud or unruly behavior or any misconduct of any kind will result in you being evicted from the premises,
by the police if necessary, and no refunds will be given.

You agree that regardless of your length of stay there is NO TENANCY or other rights created under any landlord or tenant laws and there are no such laws that apply to your stay. We grant you a license to stay in our rooms and you agree that we may terminate that license at any time without giving you a reason

We adhere to the National Privacy Principles relating to the collection of personal information. Information collected from you on the Registration Card is required to meet the requirements of State Legislation regarding the keeping of a Guest Register, for safety reasons and for billing purposes. If you do not provide us with this information, we may be unable to provide you with accommodation. We will only make this information available to a third party when or if we are required to do so by law or to enforce the collection of any monies owing by you to us. You must advise us if any details on the registration card are incorrect. Personal information collected during your stay will be retained for the length of time necessary to comply with taxation / accounting requirements
We will not knowingly permit any misuse of any data / information held and will adhere to our Industry Association standards for the use of any personal information

If after supplying you with a Tax Invoice upon your departure or payment of your account by other agreed arrangements you require a “copy”, an administration fee will apply, payable before a copy will be issued.
